In honor of the oaks framing the entry drive, Crossed Oaks Studio was the name we chose for our portrait studio we developed in the country outside of Montgomery, Texas. We were a little over an hour northwest of Houston, about 35 minutes from the Woodlands, and about 20 minutes west of Conroe.

     With the help of an award winning landscape designer we developed the 13 acre site with unique landscaping details designed to provide our clients with numerous outdoor portrait possibilities. In addition we had trails through the woods, a small pond with an island of rock, a beautiful rock garden, and in spring a wildflower meadow.

     All of this was created for those individuals and families interested in an outdoor setting for their portraits. We also had classic sets available in our "studio in the barn." Portraits in your home or office were among our other offerings. We were able to bring the necessary lighting and other equipment to the clients to produce the portraits they always dreamed of having for their walls.

We hope to continue this tradition here in East Tennessee. We're currently looking for locations that are both beautiful and convenient to our client base.
