The entry off Johnson Rd. still has the original fencing. The crossed oaks that the studio is named after are just to the left of the gate.

Coming up the road you pass the small pond surrounded by iris and elephant ears. In the center is "Mo Island" a small bolder that makes a great location for pictures. The rock to the right is a natural bird bath for the local wildlife. Scattered throughout the property are feeders local birds and for deer.

Just up from the pond is a stone bench for individual or group portraits.

Coming up the road from the pond, the split rail fence has a southwestern accent at one end, and a 90 year old antique rose at it's center. We're going to be using a lot of native plant materials throughout the property.

Behind this fence is the area where the wildflower meadow will be created this spring.

Approaching the studio there's the horse trough.
